Life can be painful, but it can also be beautiful and meaningful. I find that a slight shift of perspective can alter this worldview in drastic ways.
I am deeply committed to understanding individual experiences and concerns in a safe and respectful manner. As a student of life, I have also needed help along the way, and I know reaching out to others is a sign of strength and self-love. Sometimes we get lost in our own stories, and it can be difficult to recognize our individual fortitude, courage, and triumphs; but, it is there, waiting.
I often use both approaches together, which can promote lasting therapeutic change and provide symptom relief. My practice includes: trauma, depression, anxiety, attachments, sports enhancements, improving concentration, and sleep issues. I work with individuals, couples, and families.
My clients would describe me as non-judgmental, empathetic, attentive, flexible and creative in my thinking, therapeutic style, and perspective. My therapeutic approach is strength-based and focuses on my client’s positive aspects and attributes so they may see they already possess the tools they need for real and meaningful change.
